  • People’s work-life balance shifted because of COVID.
  • People are staying home more because of childcare too.
  • A compilation of factors has caused a lot of resignations to come at the same time.
  • The pandemic has allowed businesses to decide if they want to focus on remote work, in-person work, or a hybrid.
    • Each type attracts its own workers.
  • The cost to hire one person is at least $5000.
  • It’s not easy to build culture.
    • How do you do it online?
  • Alignment is really about not being able to shy away from core values.

  • Evan sees a shift in work from time-oriented to metric-oriented.
