  • Learn the skill and structure, get feedback and practice to get good at storytelling. You won’t get better by sitting on the sidelines. You’ve got to do it!
  • One of the biggest mistakes in storytelling is to not knowing what your purpose and point of the story is. “You’ve got to know how to land the plane.”
  • You need to know your audience. Your story is more about your customer than it is about you.
  • The extraordinary lives inside the ordinary. If you have an experience that you have an emotional reaction to, it is likely there is a lesson and a story to be shared.
